Milk Paint is an ancient all-natural paint containing basic ingredients including milk protein (casein), limestone, clay and natural pigments. When absorbed into the surface, Milk Paint will never chip or peel. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and is naturally mould resistant. Milk paint provides a completely breathable coating and is ideal for painting wood, plaster, plasterboard and a variety of other surfaces. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and contains no VOCs. Milk paint comes as a powder, to which you then add water and mix to a smooth consistency.

 

With the Milk Paint Bonding Agent you can use Milk Paint on even more surfaces such as previously painted walls or furniture, varnished surfaces, ceramic tiles, metal, glass etc. Without the bonding agent, Milk Paint will resist some pre-finished or pre-painted surfaces to achieve an authentic “chippy” look.

 

A variety of final finishes, from smooth and even, to distressed, aged and chippy can be achieved using Milk Paint and different application techniques. Countless colour combinations can also be achieved by mixing Milk Paint colours.

 

1 Sample size will paint a side table, several mirror frames or a small chair.

 

1 Quart size will paint a dresser and a side table.

 

2 Quarts will paint a large hutch.
